  Ocean Grove

Ocean Grove is a study which explores chord-melody in what is perhaps the most “guitaristic” of keys - E major.

From Ben – It combines simple melodic phrases with chordal passages and double- stops, utilizing bass notes for each chord which are played between a span of the open position and the 8th fret. It can be helpful to pay attention to where hammer-ons and pull-offs occur throughout, as they play an important role in how the melody should be articulated.
