Shane Barnes (@shanebarnesmusic) is a Seattle-based ambient and post-rock guitarist. He is widely known in the Instagram guitar community for his unique style and cutting-edge musical and visual aesthetic.

Barnes has a clear and methodical teaching style. He shares digestible step-by-step tips and excercies for fast learning.

Originally from Australia, Barnes has carved out a niche in the international online guitar community. His unique style draws from Glenn Gould playing J.S. Bach, and jazz pianists and saxophonists like Brad Mehldau & Joshua Redman.

Shane is VERY passionate about unlocking the mysteries of his students' fretboards through his strategic and systematic approach.
